My Successful Accutane Journey

I had HORRIBLE cystic acne all over my face, concentrated on my chin. Every day I'd wake up with a new monster on my face and throughout the day I would have to carry tissues with me because at times, some would randomly break open and literally ooze out. It was disgusting and would happen at any time, even in class. My face hurt all the time and I never wanted to touch it, I hardly wanted to leave the house because of how bad my face was. I had tried antibiotics which helped at first, but failed shortly after. I finally went to the dermatologist and he took one look at me before prescribing Accutane.

I was really skeptical at first, especially when my face began to get worse, but then it slowly got better. I was on Accutane for about six months and my face is so clear that people weren't even able to recognize me. There is a bit of redness in my cheeks, but I was prescribed medicine for that which has reduced it significantly. I don't have any scarring left over from the Accutane and my skin/lips are no longer dry.

Accutane was a huge success for me, and I hope it can help out others with the same problems I had.

I've been off of Accutane for about two months and haven't had a single pimple.
