Rooibos tea

You mentioned in your story that you used rooibos tea to treat your acne. How long did you drink the tea before seeing results? Also, if I used a tea bag to wipe my face, would it reduce the shine?

Yvette's reply: I must have been drinking the tea for at least a month before noticing any results. Also I was drinking non-stop throughout the day and I had cut out any drinks with refined sugar (juices, pop, etc.).

Using the rooibos tea bag will definitely reduce the shine. If you've ever tried any chinese teas like Oolong tea, you'll notice they cut the grease and make your stomache feel better - especially while eating dim sum :)

Rooibos tea is no different. It will remove the oil from your skin, and therefore the shine.
